Project Background:

This was the first of two cover illustrations I did for Solar Today magazine.  Inspired by Saul Steinberg’s “New Yorker’s View of the World”, it focuses on a smart grid connected home, attached to off-shore wind turbines and southwest solar power producers.

My Approach:

This was a fun illustration to do as the compressed perspective allows a lot of abstraction and frees you from technical accuracy.
